Orthotics

Custom orthotics are shoe inserts that are designed to correct any imbalances in the foot or ankle. When the biomechanics are off, and weight is poorly distributed across the foot, pain in the foot/ankle can arise. As the body then tries to compensate, additional strain is often placed further up the kinetic chain into the knees, hips, pelvis and lumbar spine - typically resulting in knee, hip and/or low back pain. By re-aligning the foot with an orthotic, tension is reduced in the body, and shock absorption is more efficient. Orthotics can also be used to alleviate pain from bunions, hammer toes and neuromas.

Whether your pain is brought on by running, standing at work all day, or walking the dog, an orthotic can be customized to meet your specific needs. All our orthotics are made from a negative impression cast of your feet, so each pair is customized just for you!

Stock modified orthopedic shoes, and Compression socks/hosiery are also available.
